A computer repairs shop in Cardiff is restoring Apple devices that are 10 years old

Picture the scene. There’s that favourite computer which you go back a long way with, that you have relied on over the years.

It may have an exhaustive array of data stored on it, and then the unthinkable happens. The whole thing crashes and, despite your best endeavours, you are unable to restore it to its former glory and everything is lost.

The machine is old and you think it has probably reached the end of its lifespan, that a parting of the way beckons.

So you are faced with an expensive upgrade and no prospect of ever seeing again what you had stored on what will now become your old computer. Well, not necessarily so.
