If you have trouble uninstalling Malwarebytes, please refer to the following short video on how to remove it:

ALSO, If you have problems changing your homepage, changing your default search engine, or removing extensions, please do the following: Try clicking on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and go to system preferences. When the menu is displayed, look to the bottom row, and look for something that says "Profiles" or anything else out of the ordinary (it will often have a check mark icon on it). If it's there click on it. When the next menu opens, you should see something that says "AdminPrefs" in the left column. Click on it to select it, and then click on the minus sign in the bottom left corner of the menu to remove it. After doing so, restart your mac, and go through all of the steps one more time.

Holy crap! I cannot believe this wroked! I've been fighting: ChillTab, TapuFind, MacKeeper, and, most recently, a new malware that automatically redirects Google to Bing for weeks! I was so ready to throw away my Mac and get a new one because I was running thin on patience from having to delete these apps that kept reinstalling without my permission.
    Thank you so much!

What not to like about this video? I inadvertently downloaded "Mac Cleanup Pro." This virus got a strong hold on my computer right away; the virus manifested itself by sudden pop-ups simulating a virus scan and would only close through "forced closing." I tried deleting "Mac Cleanup Pro" from my Applications in vain. Following the steps in this video helped identify all the areas infected by the virus and the removal of all treats immediately. To keep it short, I am simply grateful that you made this information available. Thank you.
