Hi, I have an iPhone 6s with fluctuating voltage. It had water damage and there was a short on vcc_main. I have cleaned it with an ultrasonic cleaner and changed the U4040 and short is gone. When I connet it to the power supply it shows me 20-80mA and all voltage test is fluctuating. Can you help me please? Thanks. You can find a video about this issue here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLrUbxcIAJo&feature=youtu.be

your video is fantastic. I have no background in electronics and trying to fix a short on iphone6 board. I have been trying to learn to do it, but no avail. I gave up trying to do it myself. You would be my life saver if I can send it to you to take a look at it. Sincerely and thank you, harry, Email: [email protected]gmail.com

Hi there. I tested my defective iPhone SE board with the power supply @4,4 vdc between battery connector positive and a general ground and got 45mA. Would you say the board is shorted? The phone works ok but randomly restarts. I've done all the hard reset and DFU mode stuff.
