Monitor Audio has a reputation for making some great speakers and now the British company has announced that it has revamped its best-selling Silver Series range to combine a bold, powerful sound with a refined and understated look.

From bookshelf speakers to floorstanding models, the Monitor Audio Silver Series 7G range has undergone a complete upgrade in terms of performance, design and build quality. The new range is designed for a variety of uses whether that’s watching the latest movies or listening to a classic vinyl album. Monitor Audio claims the speakers offer beautiful clarity and great depth, at any volume.

Taking center stage in the new line-up is the Monitor Audio Silver 300 7G; the latest iteration of the company’s very popular floorstander. This version incorporates Monitor Audio’s most advanced engineering to date, alongside real-wood veneers for a more natural look.

The speakers are fitted with the newly developed Rigid Surface Technology (RST) II driver, designed for creating a more natural sound. The technology reduces distortion so the music remains clear, even at high volume levels.

Every element of the new speakers, whether it’s the sleek trims and surrounds, or the choice of five wood veneers, ensure the speakers will complement any décor. The grain of the wood is visible in two of the new real veneer finishes (natural walnut and ash). No two pairs of speakers look identical, giving them a bespoke look and feel.

For those people who want a big home cinema experience, the Silver 300 7G – along with the rest of the Silver Series range – can be paired with the Silver AMS 7G Dolby Atmos speakers. Designed to sit on top the Silver 300 7G, the Silver AMS 7G create an immersive three-dimensional sound thanks to the upward-firing speakers.
